Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for UptimeAudit subscriptions. It supplements our Terms of Service (see §3 Subscription Plans and Fees and §9 Termination).

1. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee:

  • Self-serve: open the Billing section of your dashboard and use the Stripe customer portal to cancel.
  • By email: contact support@uptimeaudit.io from your account email address and we will cancel for you.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access to paid features until then. We do not charge anything after cancellation takes effect.

2. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis and are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. In particular:

  • No partial-month refunds. If you cancel mid-cycle, your subscription remains active until the period ends and no prorated refund is issued for the unused days.
  • Free trial: the 14-day Pro trial requires no credit card, so nothing is charged during or at the end of the trial unless you actively subscribe.
  • Statutory rights: where consumer-protection law gives you a right of withdrawal or a mandatory refund, we honor it. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

3. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund (for example, you were charged in error), email support@uptimeaudit.io with the subject line “Refund request” from your account email, including the invoice date and the reason for the request. You can also manage and dispute charges through the billing portal in your dashboard.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

4. Disputes

If anything looks wrong on your invoice, please contact us first at support@uptimeaudit.io — most billing issues are resolved within 1–2 business days, faster than a card-network dispute. Formal disputes are handled under §12 (Dispute Resolution) of our Terms of Service.
